The Secrets and Stories Behind the Mystery Screensaver Windows 98 32

the whole concept of the screensaver is fascinating, i mean, a lot of people try to make something interesting, but few can put all their creativity into that. the one i enjoyed most was when you viewed the object and then it would transform into a 3d maze which had a character running around inside. the way i used to play it was "guess where the character went" type of game.

i remember these because it was one of the first screensavers i ever saw, way back in the windows 95 days. the first time i saw it, i didn't know what it was. the graphics was pretty primitive, but the music was amazing, and i found a website for it. i've been searching for it ever since, but apparently the original source for it is now gone. a lot of the screensavers that were at the time have all vanished, but i loved this one because of the details and the music. i wonder if any of the code is still out there? i would be curious to see it.

in case you are wondering, this is my favorite screensaver, since it sounds like a night in the forest but is in space. i have it as a screensaver for my laptop, and it's very relaxing. you should hear it if you've never heard it before.

man, this is one of my favorite screensavers. i've been using it for years. i would like to know the nature of the problem you are having. the best bet would be to try installing on a physical machine and see if it runs. if you have a copy of ms98 or the original ms98 iso, that should work fine. if it does not work on a physical machine you can send your vm to me and i can try to make it work. -dan
